"I looked at 5 nurseries before selecting Alphabet and the key difference was its size - it was the cosiest. And the result is all the staff know all the children, and quickly they all responded to the totally different personalities of our twins. Children of all ages eat together, play outside and interact through the day which is great, the young learn from the old children and the older children develop their nurturing skills. If the children are doing cooking the older ones walk to the shops and buy the ingredients. Alphabet has given our children a great play and learning environment that is geared to them as individuals in a small friendly and secure environment."

"Like most parents we were apprehensive about sending our little boy to nursery, but we have been delighted with the care provided by Alphabet Nursery. The size of Alphabet is, I feel, a real bonus, as all the staff members know each child well. I love the fact that Jacob (aged one) also gets to play with older children in the other rooms as well. Jacob absolutely loves his time at Alphabet – to the extent that he regularly does not want to come home!
Alphabet Nursery provides individual care for each child and family. By way of example, at a recent review/progress meeting, I mentioned that we were trying to encourage Jacob to be gentler, in preparation for our second child. I was particularly impressed when the Key worker showed me that my wishes had already been factored into Jacob’s Individual Plan for his development for the next four months! This approach is typical of the thoughtful care that my son receives and the excellent communications the staff maintain with parents."

"Since joining Alphabet Nursery in 2009, Benjamin has thoroughly enjoyed his time spent with the Alphabet team.
The staff members are always friendly and welcoming and have a genuine affection for all the children. This has helped Benjamin settle in very quickly and allows us, as full time working parents to relax in the knowledge that he is safe and happy.
The feedback system is good and we always look forward to reading his daily diary to see what Benjamin has been up to. We were also pleased with the one to one feedback session which gave us a good insight into Benjamin's ongoing development."

"Selecting the right nursery for our son was overwhelming, however after a number of visits to Alphabet our minds were made up. Warm, friendly and fun, Alphabet met all our criteria for selecting a safe place for our baby when I returned to work.
For the first few nervous days I was sent regular updates on how he was settling in and my anxious new parent phone calls were always warmly welcomed. I had no need to worry as he settled very quickly and his smiley face said it all!
7 months on and my baby is now a toddler and remains very happy and excitable at Alphabet. Active, creative and supportive, his days are packed with fun and staff members continue to work with us to encourage our sons healthy development, with frequent fun and new experiences each week."

"Our daughter has gained a lot from Alphabet Day Nurseries. The nurturing, hands-on environment has paid dividends in helping her become a confident and independent little girl. I particularly like the fact that the nursery has a high staff to child ratio, which means she never goes short on cuddles or attention.
The staff put a great deal of emphasis on her specific needs and activities are tailored to suit her abilities. I can go to work confident in the knowledge that she will be well looked after, learn a lot, have bags of fun and that I will collect a happy (albeit tired!) little girl at the end of the day."

"Asher has had a very positive experience at Alphabet. When he started at nearly 9 months old he was quite withdrawn. He has since come out of himself amazingly and loves going to nursery. Even at two and a half years of age he has made some very close friends, both with the other children and with staff members. Now he can talk to me, he often tells of his 'friends' and what they do together 'at nursery'.
I also think that his developmental progress is in great part, due to the input he receives from the activities and teaching at nursery. There aren't many toddlers who can inform their parents that a camel stores water in its hump!!"
